The appointed DSL is the school's Headteacher, Ms Nikki Riches

In her absence, the Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Susannah Jones takes the DSL role.

In the absence of both the Head and Deputy Headteacher, one of the other trained DSLs is able to respond to an support school staff in any safeguarding matter.

All school staff know how to report concerns and are aware of the signs of abuse and neglect. Every raised concern is always addressed and /or investigated. The school works closely with other professionals because we understand that, in order to gain insight into children's needs, a multi-agency approach is essential.
