The Thrive Approach

We, as a school, have invested in The Thrive Approach and it is now becoming embedded in our school ethos as well as the ‘golden thread’ which entwines our vision to the curriculum, perfectly: it supports our children with their social and emotional development ensuring a solid foundation for academic progress and attainment.

Why Thrive?

• No matter how much we spent on resources and interventions we weren’t getting the results we expected or wanted for some children.
• Interventions alone aren’t working quick enough.
• Growth Mindset embedded but not working for all.
• Outside agency lists are long and specialist provisions were costly and, again, not working for all children.
• Why do some children learn better than others?
• We needed to dig deeper to find an answer and think ‘outside the box’.
