New Forest Wildlife Park Trip
We went to the New Forest Wildlife Park to explore and name the different habitats of different animals. We looked at the different physical features of these animals and how they survive in their enclosures.
Simon Chadwick visit
We were very lucky to have Simon Chadwick visit our school and classroom to tell us all about his books and how he completes his illustrations. He helped us to draw Beaulieu the hedgehog using shapes and numbers. We also created a Brontoscorpo!
In DT we have been using our technical and creative skills to make wooden wheeled cars. We have made chassis out of wood and even had a go at sawing! Here is some pictures below of our work in progress...
In our PE lessons on Monday and Friday we have been practising our skills of orienteering.
We have been getting very creative in class making Ndebele tribal art fabric squares. These were wonderfully sewn together by Mrs Jones in orange class for our Fairtrade Tea Party.
We went over to the Junior school to go and explore the life bus. Caroline, on the life bus, helped us to learn about our own feelings as well as others.
